We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant (clinical MA license highly preferred, but not required) flexible to work both as a MA and a receptionist when needed at our Christiansburg family practice and aesthetics office.

Clinical experience OR licensure required.
MA tasks include assisting the physician during examinations when needed.
Preparing laboratory specimens.
This is primarily an office/clerical desk job, but you may occasionally be needed to assist in an exam room if the nurse is not available.
This includes, but is not limited to, administering shots and TB tests, and drawing blood.
Office assistant tasks include a range of basic office support activities such as answering phones and directing calls, greeting and directing patients, answering questions and performing routine clerical, data entry, and/or word processing work as everyday duties include collecting information, faxing, scanning, making copies and data entry.
We are open to significant schedule flexibility M-F based on your availability.
This is currently a part-time position that will become full-time in the Fal if you are interested.
Typical schedule is MWF 9-4, Tu/Th 12-5, but there is flexibility for the right candidate.
